Thank you for supporting the IRWA Safe Water is Good for Life campaign. With over 4,000 people dying every day throughout the world due to contaminated water, every dollar like every drop is precious. Your contribution will help to reverse this humanitarian condition. No amount is too small. We will use your donated dollars to support/expand our Circuit Rider Programs or toward the construction of water and sanitation projects. You can specify whether you would like your donation to go toward a specific project on the donation page. IRWA’s goal is to put as many of your dollars directly towards assistance projects as is possible. We will only use 15% toward administrative costs here in the U.S. which is necessary to maintain the organization and to continue the assistance work abroad. In addition to the specific water projects we are currently working on, here are some items for consideration:
- Support a circuit rider for a year $10,000. Provides full cost, including transportation, for an in-country circuit rider to provide technical assistance and training. A circuit rider can be expected to work with up to 15 communities per month to solve their water issues.
- Support a circuit rider for a month: $850 or for a day: $50
- Provide a Depurador to a small community: $400
